Editing content

Build each page from sections — drag a section onto the canvas, reorder or hide it, and edit its content. Click hero text directly to change it, or use the property panel for richer sections.

Purpose

A page is built from sections stacked top to bottom. The Pages tab is where you create and manage pages; the Editor tab is where you compose each one — dragging in sections, arranging them, and editing their content.

Managing pages

  1. 1

On the Pages tab, see every page with its section count and status. Single- page templates start with one homepage; multi-page templates come with several.

  2. 2

Use Add Page to create another page. Each page has a title, a slug, and a draft/published status.

Building a page from sections

  1. 1

Open the Editor tab. The section palette is on the left, grouped into Basic (Header navigation, Hero, Hero Minimal, Text Block, FAQ, Sponsors), Conference (Important Dates, Call for Papers, Committee), and Layout (Divider, Spacer). Several of these — Important Dates, Call for Papers, and the Committee grid — fill themselves in from your conference data.

  2. 2

Add a section by dragging it from the palette onto the canvas; a blue dashed line shows where it will drop.

  3. 3

Arrange it with the section's toolbar: Move Up / Move Down to reorder, Toggle Visibility to hide it without deleting, and Delete to remove it.

  4. 4

Edit its content. Select a section to open its property editor on the right — for example a Text Block's title, HTML content, alignment, and width, or a Committee section's columns and which details to show.

  5. 5

Save your work with Save Changes.

Click-to-edit

Click hero text to edit it in place

On a Hero section you can edit the title and subtitle directly: click the text in the preview, type your replacement, and click away to save it. It's the quickest way to set your conference's headline without opening a panel.

Tips

Hide instead of delete

Not sure whether you'll keep a section? Use Toggle Visibility to drop it from the live page while keeping it in the editor, rather than deleting it — you can switch it back on later without rebuilding it.

Some sections fill themselves in

Important Dates, Call for Papers, and the Committee grid pull from your conference's own data, so they stay accurate as you update dates, the CFP, and committee roles elsewhere — you don't re-type that content into the website.
