Styling & themes
Restyle your site in seconds — apply one of ten curated color themes from the Design tab, and set a hero's background to a solid color, a gradient, or an uploaded image.
Purpose
Styling is split between two places: a color theme that recolors the whole site from the Design tab, and a hero background you set per hero section in the Editor. Together they cover most of how the site looks without touching any code.
Color themes
- 1
On the Design tab, pick a color theme. Ten curated palettes are available: Coral, Sunset, Grape, Ocean, Meadow, Berry, Sunshine, Lavender, Flamingo, and Midnight-Pop (a dark theme with light text).
- 2
The theme recolors headers, accents, and body throughout the site, and the live preview updates so you can compare before committing.
Hero background
- 1
In the Editor, select a Hero section to open its background editor.
- 2
Choose one of four modes: None (fall back to a solid color), Color (a color picker with hex input and preset swatches), Gradient (two color stops, a direction, and curated presets), or Image (upload a file or paste an image URL).
- 3
The change applies to the preview immediately, so you can dial in the look in place.
Tips
Set your color theme before fine-tuning a hero background — the theme defines the palette the whole site shares, and a hero gradient or image reads best when it sits within that palette rather than fighting it.
Nine of the themes are light (dark text on light headers); Midnight-Pop is the dark-mode palette (light text on dark). If you want a premium, dark look, start there rather than recoloring a light theme.
