Decisions
See the accept/reject decisions approved or released for papers in your program, with average scores and your own recommendation, from the read-only Decisions tab.
Purpose
The Decisions tab gives you visibility into the outcomes being decided across your program. It lists every decision that has been approved or released by the Program Chair — the decision type (accept, reject, conditional, downgrade, workshop transfer, and so on), the paper's average score, and your own recommendation where you reviewed the paper. This tab is read-only: you watch decisions here, you don't make them.
When you use it
- To track which papers in your area have been accepted, rejected, or given a conditional/downgraded outcome.
- To compare the final decision against the average review score and your own recommendation.
- To confirm a decision has moved to Released (visible to authors) versus just Approved.
Walkthrough
- 1
Open the Senior Area Chair Console, select your program, and open the Decisions tab.
- 2
Read the stats bar — Total, Accepted, and Rejected — for the decisions made so far.
- 3
Use the filter pills (All, Accepted, Rejected) to narrow the table. Accepted covers accept, conditional, and downgrade outcomes; Rejected covers reject and desk reject.
- 4
Scan the table: paper number, title (click to open the paper), Avg Score, My Rec (your recommendation, with a check when it aligns with the outcome), the Decision label, and the Status pill (Approved or Released).
Tips
Approved means the Program Chair has finalized the decision but authors have not been notified yet; Released means it has gone out to authors. If the tab is empty, no decisions have been approved for your program yet.
