Overview

The Overview tab of the Program Chair Console — headline stats, program status, submission breakdown, quick actions, deadlines, and recent activity for your program.

Last updated: 2026-06-28

Purpose

The Overview tab is the landing view for your program. It rolls the program up into four headline numbers, shows the program's status and review mode, breaks submissions down by status, offers quick actions into the parts of the console you use most, and lists upcoming deadlines and recent activity.

When you use it

  • As your first stop each time you open the console, to check the health of your program at a glance.
  • To see how submissions are split across draft, submitted, under review, revision requested, accepted, and rejected.
  • To confirm your program's current phase, review mode, and whether AI review is enabled.
  • To jump straight to inviting reviewers, viewing submissions, managing reviews, or program settings.

Walkthrough

  1. 1

Open the Program Chair Console and select your program (skipped if you chair only one). The Overview tab is shown by default.

  2. 2

Read the four stat cards across the top: Total Submissions, Pending Reviews (submissions under review), Decisions Made, and Committee Members. On a sub-Full conference the review cards show "—" with a Full-tier badge.

  3. 3

Check the Program Status card: current phase, conference and year, system level, and — on Full programs — the review mode and whether AI review is enabled.

  4. 4

Read the Submission Status card for the breakdown by status: Draft, Submitted, Under Review, Revision Requested, Accepted, and Rejected.

  5. 5

Use the Quick Actions card to jump to Invite Reviewers, View All Submissions, Manage Reviews, or Program Settings.

  6. 6

Scan Upcoming Deadlines and Recent Activity at the bottom for the nearest dates and the latest submission activity.

Tips

Overview is read-only — act from the tabs

The Overview tab summarizes your program; it doesn't change anything. Use its Quick Actions as shortcuts, then do the actual work in the Settings, Committee, Submissions, Reviews, and Decisions tabs.

TODO — confirm

The Upcoming Deadlines panel currently shows placeholder dates (submission / review / decision at fixed offsets) rather than your program's configured Important Dates. Treat those dates as illustrative and rely on the Settings → Important Dates tab for the real schedule.
