Decisions
Review the proposals submitted to your container and accept, request revision, or reject them — accepting automatically creates the sub-program — from the Decisions tab of the Multi-Program Chair Console.
Purpose
The Decisions tab is where you act on the proposals submitted to your container program. For each proposal you can Accept, Request revision, or Reject. Accepting runs the proposal-acceptance service that creates the sub-program under your container, assigns the proposer as its chair, marks the proposal accepted, and emails the proposer.
When you use it
- To work through proposals waiting on a decision (they're sorted to the top).
- To approve a proposal and stand up its sub-program in one step.
- To send a proposal back for revision, optionally with a deadline.
- To reject a proposal with a reason.
Walkthrough

Open the Multi-Program Chair Console, select your container, and open the Decisions tab. The header shows how many proposals are awaiting a decision and the total.

Find the proposal in the table — proposer and submitted date are shown, with pending proposals listed first. Click Review on an actionable row to open the decision dialog.

Read the proposal title, proposer, and abstract, then choose a decision: Accept, Request revision, or Reject.

If you chose Accept, confirm the note that a sub-program will be created under your container with the proposer as chair. If you chose Request revision, optionally set a revision deadline.

Add a message to the proposer (optional for an accept; recommended for a revision or rejection), then confirm. A toast confirms the result and the proposer is notified by email.
Tips
Accepting isn't just a status change — it creates the sub-program (named after the proposal), links it back to the proposal, and makes the proposer its chair. You can edit the new sub-program afterward from the Programs tab.
The Decisions tab requires the Basic Decisions feature (available from the Light tier and up). On a tier without it, the tab shows a locked message instead of the proposals table.
This tab decides proposals submitted to the container. Paper-level accept/reject inside a sub-program stays with that sub-program's PC chair, not here.
