Settings

Edit your container program's information and choose what proposers upload with a proposal, from the Settings tab of the Multi-Program Chair Console.

Last updated: 2026-09-29

Purpose

The Settings tab holds the settings of your container program itself (for example, "Workshops"): its program information, and how proposals for new sub-programs are submitted. Each sub-program keeps its own settings in the Program Chair Console.

When you use it

  • To correct the container's name, acronym, description, contact email or email sender name.
  • To check what file a proposer must upload with a proposal.

Walkthrough

  1. 1

Open the Multi-Program Chair Console, select your container, and open the Settings tab.

  2. 2

Program Information is the same section as Program Info in the Program Chair Console's Settings: edit the Name, Acronym, Description, Contact Email and Email Sender Name, then click Save Program Info.

  3. 3

Under Proposal Submission, choose the Content type proposers upload. PDF only is the default and currently the only option. Click Save.

Tips

Sub-programs have their own settings

Tracks, submission types, the Archive default, review settings and dates for a workshop or tutorial are set in that sub-program's Program Chair Console → Settings, which its chairs find in their sidebar.
