Dashboard

The at-a-glance home tab of the Conference Leadership Console — key counts, conference status, quick actions, and recent activity.

Last updated: 2026-06-28

Purpose

The Dashboard is the home tab of the Conference Leadership Console. It gives you a single at-a-glance view of your conference: top-line counts, current status and visibility, fast links to the things you set up most often, and a feed of recent activity. Use it as your starting point each time you open the console.

When you use it

Open the Dashboard when you first land in the console to get oriented, to check how many programs and submissions you have, to confirm your conference's status and whether its public page is live, or to jump straight into a common task like creating a program or inviting a committee member.

Walkthrough

  1. 1

Open the console and select your conference. The Dashboard tab is selected by default. If you lead only one conference, it opens directly; otherwise pick a conference card first.

  2. 2

Scan the four stat cards across the top: Programs, Submissions, Pending Reviews, and Deadlines. These reflect the currently selected conference.

  3. 3

Note the Pending Reviews card. Peer review is a Full-tier feature, so on Light and Standard conferences this card is dimmed, shows a "Full" required badge, and displays "—" instead of a number.

  4. 4

Read the Conference Status card to confirm your conference's status (Draft, Open, Closed, or Archived), its system level, and Website Visibility — which reads "Public" once the status is anything other than Draft, and "Preview Only" while it's still a Draft.

  5. 5

On a Full-tier conference, the Conference Status card also shows your Review Mode (Direct, Two-Stage RR, or Instant AI Review) and the AI Review state. Click the help icon next to either label to open an explainer of the options.

  6. 6

If your conference has a public URL, click View Public Page in the Conference Status card to open the live page in a new tab.

  7. 7

Use the Quick Actions card to jump into common setup tasks: Create New Program, Invite Committee Member, Create CFP, or Conference Settings.

  8. 8

Check the Recent Activity feed for the latest changes on the conference, such as newly created programs and incoming submissions.

Tips

The stats follow your selected conference

Every card on the Dashboard is scoped to the conference you have open. If the numbers look wrong, confirm you're on the right conference — use the back button in the header to switch.

Pending Reviews dimmed? Check your tier

A greyed-out Pending Reviews card with a "Full" badge isn't a bug — peer review is only included on the Full tier. Light and Standard conferences won't track reviews here.

TODO — confirm

The Deadlines stat is currently wired to a fixed value of 0 in the code and does not yet reflect real upcoming deadlines. Confirm the intended behavior before documenting it as a live counter; for now, manage dates from the Important Dates tab.

TODO — confirm

The Recent Activity feed includes at least one placeholder entry ("New submission received") alongside real program-creation events. Confirm whether this feed is fully live before describing it as an authoritative activity log.
